Ombudsman schemes
Commonwealth Ombudsman Australia The Commonwealth Ombudsman investigates public complaints about Federal government departments and agencies and attempts to resolve disputes and improve government administration.
Ombudsman Victoria The Victorian Ombudsman investigates complaints about Government administration and can express ‘an opinion as to whether or not the actions complained of are contrary to law, unreasonable, unjust, oppressive or improperly discriminatory’.
