Management
The Legal Service is an Incorporated Association and is governed by its members as set out in the rules of association.
The Committee of Management is vested with most of the decision making powers and is elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting. The Committee currently consists of eight dedicated members who are actively involved in the local community.
General meetings of the Committee are normally held on the second Monday of each month. Financial reports, the Co-ordinator/Solicitor report, the Financial Counsellor report and correspondence are all presented to the Committee each month and any decisions that need to be made concerning staff and the future direction of the Legal Service, including policy and procedure, are discussed and ratified.
