Clients of DDLS have the right to:
Confidentiality
Respect for their dignity, rights and values
Be fully informed of all options to resolving problems
Receive the highest standard of legal service possible
Legal advice free from conflicts of interest
All case files and consumer complaints being treated with absolute privacy
Be told of any information that is recorded about them
All records being kept secure
Access to all written records
Referral to other services if their needs cannot be met by DDLS
Have their grievances heard and resolved
Apply to become a member of DDLS
Have an opportunity to participate in service activities and campaigns
Participate in policy and service evaluation processes
