History
The Loddon Campaspe Community Legal Centre was funded by the Victorian Government in 2005 as part of its Fairer Victoria initiative. For several years the local community had called for free and accessible legal services for low-income and disadvantaged residents of the Loddon and Campaspe regions.
In response to this need the Advocacy and Rights Centre detailed the need for such a service in its report Access to Justice in the Loddon Campaspe Region.
In 2006 the Victorian Government highlighted the work of the Loddon Campaspe Community Legal Centre (page 55) in its report A Fairer Victoria - Progress and Next Steps June 2006.
