Contracts and Employment

If you feel that your legal rights under an employment or other contract have been breached, Monash-Oakleigh Legal Service may be able to assist you to enforce your rights or seek compensation. In relatively straightforward contractual matters, we can help you negotiate with your employer or former employer or the other party to the contract, including assisting you to draft correspondence.

In appropriate cases, we may be able to assist you to prepare a case to present in court. If your matter is more complex, Monash-Oakleigh Legal Service can provide you with a referral to an appropriate private solicitor or organisation. Please bring a copy of your contract with you to your appointment.
