Peninsula CLC - Long Term Goal

To empower and support disadvantaged community members of the South East and Westernport Region to use the law and legal system to protect and advance their rights and broaden their awareness of their responsibilities.

Aims

1. To provide a free, readily accessible, community managed legal advice referral casework service, utilising strategies including conciliation and dispute resolution, to people who live, work or study within the municipalities of Frankston, Mornington Peninsula Shire, Casey, Cardinia, Kingston and Glen Eira.
   
   
2. To provide quality, targeted community legal education activities which empower the community in dealings with the legal system, and where appropriate, provide these activities in conjunction with other community services.
   
   
3. To identify and participate in activities related to law reform focusing on issues arising from casework trends and in response to local community needs.
