Family violence submission
The Federation has submitted a comprehensive response to the Victorian Law Reform Commission's Consultation Paper, Review of Family Violence Laws. The response captures the significant knowledge and expertise in CLCs, developed through years of legal advice and representation in intervention order matters. The contributions of specialist centres ensures that the submission addresses issues facing particularly disadvantaged communities including people with disabilities and CALD and indigenous communities. The pro bono assistance of Blake Dawson Waldron was invaluable to the research and writing process.
