Services - Darebin Community Legal Centre

Services

Darebin Community Legal Centre provides free legal advice by appointment to people who live, work or study in the Darebin region.

Telephone advice is not provided.

Interpreters are available over the phone or in person. During the night service, interpreters are used over the phone. In person interpreters can be used during the day.

The service provides initial advice (but not court representation) in most areas of law. Refer to our Casework Guidelines section for more information. In some cases we refer clients to private solicitors, relevant specialist Community Legal Centres or other relevant agencies (eg Victoria Legal Aid).
