Policies and Procedures

The Federation of Community Legal Centres is guided by 3 sets of policies and procedures:

1. Federation Membership Policies & Procedures,
2. Federation Justice Policy Positions and
3. Federation Office Policies & Procedures.

The Federation Membership Policies & Procedures outlines the structure of the Federation as developed in the Strategic Plan (2003-2006) and guides the operation of the Federation as a whole. It explains how the different bodies that make up the Federation work together to further the Federation’s goals. These bodies are;

• Members’ Meetings
• Management Committee
• Standing Groups – Sector Development Standing Group & Justice Initiatives Standing Groups
• Working Groups
• Short term task groups
• Federation Office.

These policies and procedures are a guide to how to get things done in the Federation – how working groups get policy passed, how to speak on behalf of the Federation etc.
