Overview

Task groups form on a more short-term basis to work on more specific projects as identified by the standing groups.

Civil Law Issues Task Group

The Civil Law Issues Task Group monitors and responds to the Victorian Law Reform Commission's Civil Justice review and relevant civil law initiatives. The Group works to promote the issues facing CLCs in Stage 2 of the VLRC project. The Group is also a forum for collaboration on civil law reform initiatives in the sector, such as projects addressing the high levels of car crash case work in CLCs.

Older Person's Law Task Group
The Older Person's Law Task Group seeks to input the establishment of a specialist Older Persons Legal Service and works on improving access to justice for older people.
