Shepparton Outreach
The Goulburn Valley CLC Pilot is based at 139 Maude St, Shepparton (opposite UnitingCare Cutting Edge). The Pilot provides free legal assistance to people living in the Greater Shepparton, Mitchell, Strathbogie, Moira and Campaspe Shires.
The service can assist in a range of areas including family law, consumer law, credit and debt matters, discrimination, family/domestic violence, crime, motor vehicle accidents, welfare rights, employment, guardianship, complaints and victims of crime matters.

Cobram Outreach
In May the Goulburn Valley Community Legal Centre Pilot and UnitingCare Cutting Edge hosted a forum on family violence issues in the Goulburn Valley region. The feedback from those attending was that there is a lack of legal assistance available at the Cobram court in Family Violence matters.
As a result of this feedback the Shepparton service is piloting a Family Violence Legal Assistance Service at the Cobram Court starting 15 September 2010. This service will run for an initial pilot period of 12 weeks. For more information please contact the Shepparton Outreach numbers above.
The service aims to assist those currently going unrepresented in family violence matters and will complement the duty lawyer service already being provided by Victoria Legal Aid.
A Goulburn Valley Community Legal Centre Pilot will be at court each time it sits (fortnightly on a Wednesday) to provide advice and representation to unrepresented litigants.
