Mental Health Legal Centre Inc.

Reform, Policy & Research

MHLC conducts law reform and policy work which aims to promote and protect the rights of people with experience of mental illness.  We lobby Government, law reform agencies, policy makers and other stakeholders on a range of topics, by:
  • commenting on reports,

  • developing discussion papers,

  • research papers,

  • writing submissions and

  • responding to articles in the media.

You will find many of these documents if you click on the different topics on the left.

You will also find further information about the law and consumers' rights in the Education and Information section of our website.
