About Us

The Moreland Community Legal Centre Inc has most recently changed its name from the former 'Coburg Brunswick Community Legal and Financial Counselling Centre Inc'. We have also moved premises. We are now located at 17 Sydney Road, Coburg, just before Moreland Road, Coburg. The Moreland Community Legal Centre stills provide the same services, and we hope the name change and location will enable more clients to access our centre and promote the fact the centre's catchment area is available to people, living, working or studying within the City of Moreland Municipality. The Centre also provides training for social and community service workers and financial counselling (by appointment). The Centre specialises in the following areas:

• welfare rights
• domestic violence and family law
• corrections and police issues
• social security
• criminal law
• traffic matters, and
• complaints against professionals.
