Service Availability Update as at 26 September 2008

West Heidelberg Community Legal Service is currently taking appointments. We try to ensure that waiting time for appointments is approximately 1 week.

If there are no appointments available within the following week, in some circumstances we may recommend you visit another legal centre so that you can beassisted sooner. Or if your situation is non-urgent we may recommend you call us back in a few days time.

Please be aware that we cannot take bookings too far in advance because we often are required to assist some clients with urgent matters at short notice.

That West Heidelberg Community Legal Service operates an education clinic for La Trobe Univesity students who are studying law. You may be assisted by a student during your time at WHCLS. Please note:

• students are supervised by a qualified solicitor
• any legal advice you receive is determined by a qualified solicitor
• students are obliged to handle your case in a sensitive and confidential manner
